REPAIRS / RESTORATION

River City Glassworks specializes in repair and restoration of stained glass windows and lamps, both new and old. Broken pieces, whether soldered or leadwork, can be repaired for many more years of light and enjoyment.

We also specialize in rebuilding old leaded pieces, restoring them to their former glory. Lead has a lifespan of about 100 years, so those gorgeous old windows of years gone by can enjoy a new life.

Basic Costs of Repair Work:

Broken panels: $150/first 2 pieces; $25/piece over initial 2 pieces

Broken lamps: $150/first piece; $25/piece over initial piece. 20% contingency if needed

Re-cementing leaded panel: $150

Rebuild/restoration: Send email with pictures for estimate. 20% contingency if needed.

Custom wood framing: Basic pine: starting at $125; Oak: starting at $175

Strip and stain/restore wood: price dependent on severity of damage. Send email with pictures for estimate.

On-Site repairs: $65 trip fee; $150/hour

*Repair charges include in-stock materials and labor. If we have to special order any glass or supplies, that charge will be added to the total.
