How to Start the Process with
River City Glassworks
It all starts with an idea, an inspiration, a need that can only be fulfilled by customized stained glass.
Call us or send an email through our Contact page, and let us know what you have in mind. We’ll ask a few questions to help us clarify your goals, then we’ll arrange a site visit. This visit is very important for us, as your artists, to see your space, your colors, your design style, and to take accurate measurements for the new window or panel. Our initial site visits are $65.
Once we’ve met you, seen your space, and discussed your needs, all we need to get started is a $100 (non-refundable) design fee. We’ll then take the process into the studio and make some concept sketches. We’ll add color to help you visualize how it all works together, then we’ll begin the process of tailoring the design to your specifications. You may absolutely love our first concept (yay!) or you may have an idea for improvement. Either way, we’re here to make sure that you’re happy.
So now we have a design that you love, and we’re ready to get to work! To start this part of the process, we require a 50% deposit. We’ll also be able to give you a timeframe for completion or work within your timeframe if you’re in a crunch. Once the piece is completed and either delivered, installed, or picked up by you, the remainder of the invoice is due.
